COMMUNITIES UNITED RESTORING MOTHER EARTH

CURME is an urban gardening project, dedicated to facilitating the creation of an agricultural economy independent of the agribusiness commodities market, serving individuals, families, schools and organizations, training them to grow their own food and medicine in a way that restores the health of the land, the water, the people and the community.

HAPPENING NOW!!!

Let it Flow

How is life flowing for you? Are you living your life in free circulation, like a dynamic river, or are you feeling stuck, like a stagnant swamp?
Let’s think about circulation, or flow. It is evident on a very personal level in the movement of the blood in your body. Expanding from there, we see the process of evaporation of water, clod formation, rain to nourish the planet, and more evaporation. Then there is the rotation of our planet on its axis and its movement around the sun. From the microscopic level to the expansiveness of galactic movement, circulation or flow is the natural and divine order of things, absolutely necessary for life.
Enter humans and free will, and we can surely swamp things up. We hold onto resentments and refuse to forgive. We hide our talents in fear of failure or of what others might think if we put ourselves out to the world. We lock away our feelings to avoid rocking the boat. We work at unsatisfying jobs to survive, rather than thriving in work that we love. We hoard our money in fear of “not enough.” We sacrifice self-care to please others and end up with bodies and spirits starved for love and attention.
I encourage you to look at those places in life where you feel stuck, unsatisfied, or swamped in life and find ways to let your divinity circulate. It’s a win-win individually and for all creation.
Affirmation:
I live easily in the natural flow of life, generously circulating my time, talents, resources, and love.

Summer Harvest

Mexican marigold Photo by: Yoshi Uemura

As Autumn quickly approaches, CURME has readily made prepartation to welcome the Fall, with warm hearts and great expectations, we have sowed seeds of abundance and joy, throughout the entire summer and have reaped a beautiful harvest. Our dedicated team, have organically grown, summer fruits and vegetables, that we have had the pleasure to share with our community.

We have partnered with the Greater Richmond Interfaith Program, to bring a community garden to there facility and it is thriving! Everyone is truly grateful for the conveinence of organically grown, gmo-free, pesticide free, fruits and veggies.

We are currently preparing to reach more communities, by furthering our outreach movement. In the works, are thoughtful creations that will enrich, inspire and uplift individuals on a physical, mental, and spiritual level, by connecting ourselves with one another.
